The Optimist Club of Forest was founded in 1979. It was the first Optimist Club in Canada to accept female members and has a strong reputation for providing progressive, community-based programs to benefit youth within the community.
The Club’s motto is “Friend of Youth”.
As one of the largest and most active clubs in the region, the members pride themselves in organizing and sponsoring community activities to help and empower local youth to reach their full potential as members of a caring and supportive community.
In short, our goal is to bring out the best in our kids!
